Imprinted Concrete

Pattern imprinted concrete is quickly becoming a popular choice of paving to many residents all over Sussex due to its strength, appearance and durability. However, as hard wearing as this material is, it does still require a small amount of maintenance to keep it looking at its best.  

If not re-sealed every few years, the colour can fade and surface deterioration, caused by snow and general wear and tear, can become apparant, often leading to the bare concrete surface being exposed.

Firstly, we will pressure wash the surface, using rotary headed equipment that is recognised for powerfully removing surface dirt and weeds, without causing any damage to the paving. Once dry, the restoration process can begin.     

Surface damage and cracks can be easily repaired using Smartseal crack repair compound and any colour loss, caused by damaging UV light, can be effectively rejuvenated with a wide choice of colour tints available.

For optimum results, we would recommend that at least 2 coats of Smartseal Paving Sealer is then applied. This process will provide long term protection to the paving, waterproofing the surface and therefore reducing the need for regular cleaning and maintenance. This will improve the appearance and durability of any paved surface, leaving it looking like it has just been laid.
